A Senior Account Executive is required to join a large enterprise in Canberra on a permanent basis. This role is accountable to deliver against financial targets for the Enterprise and Government segment, within the Business Segment. The role will require exceptional stakeholder management at all levels, with the Service Delivery Partners (SDP), customers (Retail Service Providers or RSPs), with large (and often complex) end-users and with the ICT industry.

The role has responsibility for the design, development and implementation of plans to achieve the client's targets within a specified account base and identifies and assesses strategic options and opportunities for accelerating their growth rate.

 
The Role:
  • Design, develop and implement plans to meet financial targets within the E&G segment
  • Execute on selected opportunities. Effectively align and leverage internal and external resources to resolve complex issues and scale the E&G business through collaboration within the organisation
  • Champion the monitoring and evaluation of industry and business developments and trends in relation to application and use of high speed broadband. Identify, pursue and develop value propositions that are suited for adoption in customers.
  • Engage and educate ICT vendors and Integrators that service the E&G customers to ensure an understanding of the organisation
  • Represent the company at conferences and networking events
  • reate public sector specific sales presentations with a focus around value to the client against their business objectives.
  • Ensure that there is an effective and competitive RSP channel to market for the Enterprise and Government Segment; that both the client and RSPs have products in market; and that RSPs are driving the migration of businesses
  • Drive end-user awareness in this segment and drive Temporary Special Services migrations  

 
The Successful candidate will have:
  • Significant(10+ years) sales experience in a large Telco or IT Services company in a role familiar with enterprise and government account management in a highly competitive environment, including extensive 'C' level executive interaction as well as responsibility for and achieving substantial financial targets.      
  • Experience driving cross-functional teams (as a virtual team) or directly managing large teams   
  • Track record of generating ideas and leading stakeholders to implement those ideas in a project structure Exceptional business integrity and experience working in a fast moving, complex, environment                
  • Experience managing stakeholders in a project environment to meet and track to milestones in a project schedule
  • In depth understanding of the ICT challenges & industry trends in the E&G market segment.
  • People management experience directly managing managers of other staff (i.e. experience as a second level manager or higher - preferable)
  • Experience coaching staff and stakeholders to high performance.
