The Company

The company is a large financial institution listed on the ASX, who are looking to add a Technical Support Analyst to their team on a permanent basis. You will be reporting to the manager within the application support team and based at their office in Sydney CBD.  This is a great opportunity if you are seeking to further your career and increase your skill set within a large company.


The Role

You will be a Technical Support Analyst responsible for SWIFT products, as well as (but not limited to):
  • Facilitating 2nd level support for SWIFT from internal to external customers and providing software installation and configuration of systems.
  • Creating and maintaining system monitors using HP Openview and Alarmguard.
  • Consistently managing the upkeep of technical documentation and data.
  • Providing testing and planning for projects including monthly reporting and annual BCP testing.

The Skill Set

The successful candidate will have:
  • Extensive experience in Application, Production or Technical Support preferably within the financial sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in either Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Mathematics.
  • Ability to think under pressure, provide quality-driven results and a methodical use of problem-solving.
  • Extensive experience in SWIFT support family of products and infrastructure, as well as security, database recovery and file replication.
