About the Organisation
Our client is a central agency of the Australian Government, with an important role in supporting the government's ongoing priorities through public sector resource management, governance and accountability frameworks. Based at our client's centrally located office, you will have the opportunity to be part of projects to enhance internal systems and enable the department to effectively deliver services to the government.

About the Role
Our client utilises Aurion to manage its payroll functions and offer HR self-service functionality to employees. In this role you will contribute to the maintenance of the Aurion system and provide high quality help desk support to system users. You will work as part of a division responsible for human resources services, learning and development, financial information and support and more.

This is a 12 month vacancy which can be filled by a contract, on a non-ongoing basis or as a temporary transfer/section 26.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide help desk services for Aurion
  • Support quality assurance processes
  • Manage and undertake testing of system changes and implement changes
  • Coordinate, develop and deliver training for Aurion functions
  • Assist with projects relating to Aurion as required
  • Provide ad hoc reporting
  • Process pay run and related activities

Skills and Experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Aurion including:
    • Providing high-level help desk support
    • Developing and delivering training for Aurion functions, including developing training materials
    • Conducting testing of system changes
    • Implementing system changes
    • Payroll processing in Aurion
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen.
