This well-known Melbourne institution is currently seeking an experienced Tester with a solid background in both Automation and manual testing. Working in an Agile environment you will need to understand both the functional and non-functional elements of the project and have a passion for ensuring only high-quality software is released.

Key responsibilities:

Identify, create and execute test cases using test automation tools and frameworks
Write BDD feature files using Cucumber
Build Automation scripts using Selenium and Java
Take part in scrum stand-ups, sprint, retroscriptive meetings, and iteration planning

Skills and Experience

Experience in automation testing for Web applications, API, Integration, Database, and Unit testing.
Strong test development experience using JAVA/ Selenium Web driver with Cucumber / Gherkin driven test framework
Experience with the Atlassian suite of products (JIRA and Confluence) preferred
Must have knowledge and experience around source management tools like GIT/BitBucket
Experience with programming languages such as Javascript
Experience in testing web services API tests using Postman/ SOAP UI
