Your brand new role as Business Analyst will see you support the Product Owner to ensure the team meets the required business objectives and that requirements are accurately reflected in documentation.

Working with the subject matter experts as well as the vendor build team, you will create business requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria by identifying, investigating, researching and analysing business processes, industry trends, regulatory and compliance obligations and best practices.
 
Your will also assist in the preparation of user and system test plans and carry out appropriate system and user acceptance testing and reporting of defects and resolutions.  Working in an Agile project environment your role will ensure all documentation and process maps are continuously updated and maintained.  

Key accountabilities 
  • Work closely with the Product Owner and vendor to translate business requirements into system and business focused user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Analyse, define, and document business requirements for data, workflow and processes specific to the business steam
  • Assist in data cleansing, system configuration, system setup, workflow creation, report creation, user guides in collaboration with the vendor
  • Ensure work produced is well researched, analysed and documented clearly to high quality
  • Work effectively as part of an Agile environment and be familiar with and able to perform in a deadline and outcomes driven environment
Experience and Skills
  • Previous experience working a Business or Systems Analyst
  • Ability to work with business stakeholders to formulate and document business requirements
  • Demonstrated analytical skills required to identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend 
  • Ability to identify, investigate, research and analyse business processes, industry trends, regulatory and compliance obligations and best practices
  • Experienced in the development of functional specifications for use by system developers
  • A high standard of communication skills (written and verbal)
