Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join a HRIS legacy system replacement program of work. This is a contract until December this year + possible extension, located in Brisbane's CBD.

The role:

This role would be suitable for a Business Analyst with experience in two or more of the following:
  • Supporting procurement processes through to selection
  • Writing of detailed Business Cases,
  • Leading current state/future state business process analysis and design
Responsibilities:
  • Assess and critically analyse information gathered through a range of elicitation techniques to capture requirements for new business opportunities and prepare the relevant documentation according to business analysis principles.
  • Undertake detailed consultation with Agency stakeholders to prepare a Business Case which supports the Agency strategies and objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between the relevant business units, technology teams and support teams to ensure that business solutions are aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify business opportunities through strategic and financial analysis to provide options for business improvement and develop business cases to support business objectives.
  • Research, analyse and review complex issues, proposals and submissions to ensure that service delivery and financial issues and other related issues impacting on agency operations are identified and considered
  • Build effective working relationships and consult at both an individual and a cross-agency level, to develop program documentation including identification of costs and benefits.
  • Liaise and negotiate with Senior Management, to ensure recommended solutions reflect the business requirements. This will include guidance through moderation sessions as well as collecting feedback from Agencies through the evaluation phase.
  • Support the Principal PM and Procurement officer as required
Requirements:
  • Experience with ICT enabled transformation programs or disciplines in areas such as human capital management (HCM), payroll, time & attendance, benefits management, integration, identity management and authentication in complex and 24/7 operational businesses.
  • Experience in platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Aurion Payroll system, contemporary integration, identity and authentication solutions.
  • Highly developed consultation, facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.  
  • Highly developed skills and experience in and project management and preparing succinct and accurate documentation across the project lifecycle for technical and non-technical audiences.
