We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join a government department based on the Sunshine Coast (Birtinya) for a contract until 31.12.2018 + extensions. 

Responsibilities:
  • Document current and future state business processes, ensuring alignment between the information requirements and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specifications.
  • Manage and maintain a repository of information models and reference data in accordance with project documentation management policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and conduct the analysis of existing and future business processes.
  • Lead and conduct needs and gap analysis including provide specialist advice to ensure successful transition from current to future states.
  • Lead and undertake requirements elicitation, documentation and tracking work packages.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and information requirements and develop Invitation to Offer (ITO) documentation, ensuring solutions meet client needs and are in accordance with strategic directions.
  • Contribute to business integration, change management and commissioning activities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the Delivery and Commissioning of End User Computing (EUC) solutions, including equipment (PCs, Printers, WOWs, Scanners etc) and applications (Local and Enterprise)
  • Ability to give direction to others, including internal project team members, vendors and partners
  • Experience with the use of SCCM, in the context of the allocation of applications to roles to devices within; and/or the ability to interpret application requirements and translate to installed applications onto the desktop computer.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond to changing EUC requirements and implementing changes to applications and solutions by having had experience navigating internal and external systems to affect change - including Service Now
  • Experience working in a time critical project and demonstrate an understanding of the complexities of project delivery and commissioning
  • Business Analysis experience on complex systems and/ or data migration projects.
  • A Queensland 'C' class driving licence is mandatory.
