Our client, a leading Higher Education provider, are currently seek an experience Business Analyst with LMS experience or similar. Located in Melbourne CBD you will work closely with business/ technical stakeholders in defining scope and requirements, identifying business processes and designing functional aspects of solutions.

Key responsibilities
  • Identify, engage and manage stakeholders and ensure that impacted stakeholders have a common understanding of new features or changes.
  • Define scope and high-level requirements for input into inception phase activities, e.g. business case development.
  • Gather, analyse and document detailed functional and non-functional requirements
  • Define, analyse and document current and future state business processes using best practices and standards (Lean/Six Sigma and BPMN) identifying opportunities for process efficiency/improvements
  • Perform requirements traceability of business analysis artefacts, ensuring that this is maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops with business/technical stakeholders and perform walkthroughs with project team members.
  • Support Project Manager in project tasks and deliverables as required, e.g. business case, analysis estimates, release planning or iteration planning.

Key skills and experience required
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst working in a large, complex environments
  • Experience working on LMS or Learning & Teaching Technology systems
  • Previous experience interpreting business needs and translating into strategically informed application and operational requirements
  • Business process improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC
  • Extensive workshop facilitation skills
  • Ability to work on complex pieces of work autonomously
