Are you a "business" Business Analyst with experience in complex environments? Know a use-case from a user-story and experienced in business process mapping (BPMN, Visio) and LEAN SixSigma?
  
Our client - a federal government agency - is mobilising a large number of programs with multiple projects. The PMO is seeking multiple BA's to review and analyse end-to-end business processes and identify operational, financial and technology risks related to the Program.

This is a large and complex Program with multiple streams and projects within each stream and distributed across multiple locations in Geelong, Melbourne and interstate. You will be working with Program Sponsors, Delivery Leads and Program Managers and may be working with Director level stakeholders. An inclusive and collaborative approach is required for finding information and gaining buy-in.

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst - EL2 equivalent to join this exciting transformation program based in Geelong (opportunity to work 2-3 days out in Melbourne).  

Measure of success:
  • 5+ years business analysis ideally within a state or federal government context
  • Deep expertise in traditional waterfall programs (Prince2, PMBOK) and Agile - you understand the difference between a use case and a user story and can demonstrate very strong business process mapping and design
  • Outstanding stakeholder management across multiple locations and all levels of management to Director and C' level 
  • Any Project Management skills would be highly regarded - ability to assist with business case development, scope management, program level reporting and analysis, vendor engagement and management 
  • Honed experience with Visio or BPMN for As-Is and To-Be process design and modelling.  
  • Experience with LEAN SixSigma highly regarded
  • Experience with complex business programs (eg new operating models, business transformations, PMO operations etc) 
  • Demonstrated passion for assisting the community 
Multiple contracts to commence in October, 6-month initial terms on offer with long-term extensions possible.
