Talent International is working in partnership with a well-known higher education institution to assist in sourcing a Business Analyst/Project Manager based in Western Sydney.

Key Accountabilities
  • Manage demand through the Workbusters pipeline;
  • Assess, analyse and triage requests;
  • Determine whether the requests can be delivered through Workbusters;
  • Develop requirements with stakeholders;
  • Organise resources for delivery;
  • Manage delivery, testing, documentation and change management through Western's formal change management process;
  • Plan and manage each of the sub components of this project, providing advice to management and support teams on the envisaged resourcing, timing, integration considerations and other factors having a major bearing on project scope, including organisational changes in relation to skill-set changes, training and so forth.
 
Key challenges
 
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience in Project Management preferably in a recognised framework such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK, with practitioner accreditation.
  • Demonstrated experience working within information technology services in a large, complex organisation providing project management expertise, complex problem solving, risk identification and mitigation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering to an Agile methodology;
  • Practical knowledge of IT service management best practice (ITIL V3 to at least Foundation level preferred).
  • Demonstrated understanding of practice change and experience with projects which include a substantial practice/culture change component.
 
This will be an initial 6 month contract with preference given to applicants who are available to join in early July
 
Experience in NSW public sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.
