Our client is a global organisation and has been active in the Australian market for over 10 years. The company is involved in designing and manufacturing digital signage solutions for the hospitality, consumer-driven and associated retail related industries. With a winning sales culture, our client offers a very supportive and collaborative work environment which in turn provides the perfect breeding grounds for success. The business is rapidly expanding due to some significant wins, as a result, they are looking for a hardworking and tenacious business development manager.
As a BDM, you will be expected to sell the entire product suite driving new business through the door. A large component of the role is new business focus with the associated client relationship management that goes with this.   
Responsibilities include:
  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
  • Demonstrating product knowledge, using samples or catalogue
  • Quoting prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
  • Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company's practice leaders/Principals. 
Ideally, the successful candidate will have at least 2+ year's hands-on sales experience in the digital signage space. However, a candidate selling a similar product from a related industry will also suffice.
  • Minimum 2+ years of proven Sales experience within the Digital signage or related industry
  • Previous sales experience and ability to meet sales targets/quotes is mandatory, but Strategic Solution Selling (SSS) is ideal.
  • Ability to achieve targets and define realistic, achievable goals.
  • Background in delivering projects to clients - from a technical or operational perspective.
  • Have a commercial mindset, with experience building quotes, proposals, forecasts, and negotiating contracts.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to build positive and productive relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to build positive and productive relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
  • Strong technical and solutions building background
  • Demonstrated experience in solution design and presentation
$100k-$150k Base + Super + Commission
