Talent International is working in partnership with a large government organisation to assist in sourcing an experienced 'Business Project Manager'.

Key Requirements:
  • Consulting and negotiating with diverse stakeholders given the complexity and sensitivity of the projects within timelines 
  • Managing interdependencies and balance competing demands to ensure project objectives are achieved 
  • Knowledge/experience of Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations practices within government sector is useful
  • Managing teams where team members are not dedicated resources or may have dual reporting lines and therefore have competing priorities 
  • Lead and manage the planning and delivery of critical and highly complex projects to deliver organisational initiatives 
  • Lead all aspects of the project management cycle, including preparing business cases and project plans, identifying and allocating resources, developing and managing budgets, communication and meeting reporting requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget and to quality standards 
  • Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of project implementation including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures to achieve the success of the project/s 
  • Lead and manage project team/s to successfully deliver all key milestones and outcomes of the project/s 
  • Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met

  • Marketing and communication skills to "sell' the program into business areas 
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes

  • Knowledge or benefits identification and management techniques 
  • Application of PMBOK Methodologies 
  • Application of Project Management methodology (PRINCE2 or equivalent)
