Working for this local utility as a Business Analyst you will provide mentoring, guidance and input to the team on business improvement projects. You brand new role will see you develop and implement improvements to customer experience and productivity.

You will also work closely with stakeholders to define problems, collect and analyse data, and develop and implement solutions to a broad range of business challenges. 

Key accountabilities
  • Engage with other business areas to understand where there are significant opportunities to improve customer experience and/or productivity
  • Work with the relevant business areas to collect and analyse data, using tools such as Six Sigma and Human Centred Design
  • Develop a business case for the preferred solution and ensure the confidence level for benefits is high
  • Work with the relevant business areas to plan and implement solutions, including people, process, data and technology components
  • Analyse the potential impact of change on all stakeholder

Skills and experience
  • Solid experience as a Business Analyst including; data analysis, business case development, business requirements development, process change, solution development & implementation
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Previous experience developing business cases and benefit realisation plans
  • Strong process mapping, process improvement design and implementation skills
  • Experience in project management/project delivery and change management
  • Understanding of Human Centred Design principles highly regarded
