Due to growth, our client based in Bendigo is seeking a Business Support Officer for an initial contract up to the end of March 2020. This is a high profile government client and you will be the first point of contact for participants within the office and provide high quality professional, friendly and respectful management of telephone inquiries, reception duties, and appointment processes.

This role has variety and is fairly autonomous. With limited guidance, you will also be responsible for a broad range of duties such as general administration, diary management, data entry, management of appointments and email, telephone inquiries and feedback.

  • Previous experience in a Business Support Officer / Administration position.
  • Experience with managing telephones, emails and reception duties.
  • An ability to work in a team and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • An ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Adaptable communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency with IT Systems
  • A positive contemporary attitude to people with disability.
  • It is highly desirable that applicants have an understanding or lived experience in the field of disability.
