Our client is a large government department committed to ensuring Queenslanders have the education and skills they need to contribute to the economic and social development of Queensland. The department delivers world-class education services for people at every stage of their personal and professional development.  

This is a contract position until February 2020 + possible extension, based in Brisbane's CBD.

Responsibilities:
  • Inform organisational change planning through the analysis and documenting of changes impacting on people, processes and technology.
  • Collaborate/consult with project team members, business stakeholders, vendors and solution users to identify and document business impacts and risks
  • Conduct information gathering sessions and stakeholder briefings as required
  • Lead and/or undertake the analysis of:
                     o  Stakeholders
                     o Current state (solution users and usage)
                     o Future state processes, data and technology and consequent impacts on people
                     o Business risks arising from the changes
                     o  Business readiness
  • Synthesise analyses and produce assessments in readily consumable formats
  • Assist in developing interventions to address the priority business impacts and risks
  • Support all organisational change tasks including the business transition planning, communications, capability development, training and user support
  • Comply with adopted methodologies, including the use of structured tools for impact analysis

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
1.   Advanced analytical and problem solving skills. Formal training or accreditation is preferred
2.   Project experience supporting people-led, complex ICT-enabled organisational change (within an infrastructure setting preferred)
3.   Knowledge of organisational change and project management methodology
4.   Highly developed interpersonal communication and written skills
5.   Delivering results in a highly time-sensitive context
6.    Group facilitation skills
