The project:
This finance system upgrade will have a fundamental impact on the daily work life of a large number of the departments staff. With the introduction of new systems and technology, many tasks may become automated or be eliminated, and new workflows to complement the system may be significantly different to current practices. As a result, it is acknowledged that the project will work closely with the business to identify the changes, impacts and determine the most appropriate support for each business area in order to assist its people through this change process.

  • Deliver the project change activity within defined resources, timeframes, budget and quality parameters within a large, diverse and complex patient-first and health service-focused finance culture
  • Operate with autonomy in respect to balancing work priorities with agreed work plan and being fully accountable for the quality, accuracy and integrity of the content of the advice provided
  • Provide support to the change team to assess and determine change readiness at various stages of the project lifecycle
  • Scheduling change workshops, meetings and forums and undertaking other project related tasks, as directed by the Principal Change Analyst or Change Manager
  • Deliver outcomes quickly and consistently in a highly changeable and political environment
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring and review of implementation readiness - minimising risk to deliver the project as efficiently and effectively as possible, the physical sites and businesses need to be "ready' for implementation.
  • 5 + years in an ICT Change Analyst/Lead role.
  • Leading, and management of eliciting and guiding the change impacts of the project
  • Working with business stakeholders in each function to understand, analyse and plan for business and systems impacts

  • Experience in working in industrial relations climates and developing a motivated and committed workforce actively seeking "standardisation of processes'
  • Understand the breadth and subtleties of project activities and an ICT environment
  • Superior written communication skills demonstrating the ability to author comprehensive, clear and concise documents for both business and technical audiences
  • Working knowledge of the health industry preferably including experience in working with health and finance staff within a unionised environment
  • Proven ability in high level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in building relationships with key people. Must be a "team player' with demonstrated team building skills
  • Well-developed analytical and judgement skills for solving complex problems and evaluating alternative courses of action
  • Advanced skills in data analysis in MS Excel and MS Access
