This Airline industry organisation based in Brisbane's Northside is currently seeing an experienced Change and Release Analyst for a permanent opportunity.

The role:
You will be responsible for the Change management function ensuring that all changes to IM&DS systems and related infrastructure are done in such a way as to meet the needs of the business, have minimal impact or pose minimal risk to information, systems and the business. You will coordinate the Change Advisory Board and work closely with the Incident Coordinator, Availability and Problem Coordinators as well as the Communications role in ensuring changes are actioned when required and communicated as required.

The successful applicant will be required to:
 
  • Review and assess all IM&DS Change Requests for impact, risk, back out plan consideration, business readiness and any potential conflicts on change calendar
  • Own and maintain the Change calendar.
  • Manage change conflict with the business
  • Ensure all areas of IM&DS are aware of the impact of the new or changed IM&DS system.
  • Assist in the review of Implementation plans for complex requests for change.
  • Undertake the chairing, coordination and secretariat of the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meeting weekly
  • Ensure updating of the approved changes into the ITSM toolset meets SLA and ensuring a change calendar is maintained and published to IM&DS and the business
  • Coordinate approval of Emergency Changes including Emergency CAB meetings
  • Analyse changes to determine trends
  • Produces regular management reports and CAB report from Works plan and ITSM tool on changes logged
  • Ensure relevant processes are reviewed, updated, communicated, published for IM&DS and related vendors/partners.
  • Provide backup within the team during times of absence
Required
  • Experience in Change Management within an ICT environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal, representation and communication skills, including a proven ability to develop, influence and maintain working relationships at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated and strong experience in business writing/reporting, including conversion from technical to business language
  • Experience in managing documentation and procedures
  • Experience using toolsets for reporting such as SAP, ITSM tools and MS Excel
  • Experience in the use of and analysing and reporting on data from multiple sources
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • ITIL Service Lifecycle - Service Transition Certification (preferred)
