The Change Manager is required to create the change strategy, develop, coordinate and implement a range of change and communication activities to support the delivery and achievement of a large program.
 
Key accountabilities:
  • Undertake analysis of all change requirements and develop appropriate change management solutions and products to support the delivery of project objectives.
  • Develop a range of change management documentation in collaboration with functional teams, including strategies, plans, briefing papers, training material and reports associated with the change management process.
  • Undertake change impact assessments, analyse strategic change requirements and develop appropriate change management plans and strategies to ensure successful project delivery and support the transition process.
  • Analyse training needs and requirements and develop, or facilitate the development of training material in consultation with key stakeholders and project partners to ensure that training delivery meets the project requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure all internal and external stakeholders are kept informed of the status and progress of change activities.
 
Skills and experience needed:
 
  • Proven track record as a solid, hands on Change Manager who is a "doer' and not purely strategic.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and change management certification an advantage.
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts, ideally in complex environments and ability to work effectively at all levels in an organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, and ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and to actively listen.
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Government experience is an advantage.
