We are currently looking an Organisational Change Manager for a 6 month contract with a large organisation in the mining and resources sector. You will create and implement change management strategies and plans to minimise resistance and maximise the adoption and usage of the new core platform to support improved data analytics for the organisation. 

Responsibilities:
  • Design and document the business change management approach to ensure strategic alignment to the realisation of business benefits/outcomes
  • Ensure all redesigned business processes are embedded within the business
  • Assist the Project Manager to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure change approaches meet business needs and to manage expectations
  • Plan and deliver clear, concise, timely and relevant information so that business managers and employees are clear about the reason for the changes and their impacts
  • If need be, plan and coordinate necessary training to ensure that employees understand new and changed solutions (both business processes and supporting systems)
  • Lead and manage the development and planning of business change management deliverables using structured and transparent methods
Key Consultant Criteria:
  • Experience working in a team context with a distributed, virtual and culturally diverse team.
Specific skills/specialities:
  • Demonstrated experience in an organisational change management role in complex IT-enabled projects.
  • Five years of experience in change management roles.
  • Ability to deliver end-to-end organisational change management support to a project, ranging from strategic analysis, planning and 'hands on' implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience developing analytical / strategic / planning OCM artefacts.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and managing sensitive stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly desirable: Prosci qualified.
Leadership / Interpersonal skills:
  • Interpersonal effectiveness: cross-cultural, cross-level;
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
