We are currently looking for a Change Manager for a large government department based in the Brisbane CBD. You will be part of a large HRIS program of work focused the replacement, transition, and implementation of a large scale Human Resource Information System.

As the Organisational Change Manager your key accountabilities will include: 
  • Setup a Change Champion network.
  • Ongoing implementation of a structured change management approach and methodology for business transformation resulting from HRIS Program activities
  • Continued management of Stakeholder Engagement and Communication planning including specific targeted activities to ensure ongoing active engagement of key stakeholders
  • Mange the following documentation to support the HRIS Program business outcomes:
    • Change and Transition Plans
    • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication Management Plans
    • Training Plans
    • Change Impact Assessments and Change Management Action Plans
    • Business Readiness Plans
    • Business Transition to Support Plans
  • Manage the implementation of the above plans within their scope of work.  Progressively evaluate effectiveness and refine as required
  • Ongoing management and implementation of the required project level stakeholder engagement and communications, change and transition management, training and benefit management products and activities
  • Continuous monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of stakeholder engagement and communication activities to continuously improve the documented approach and artefacts.
  • Mange change readiness and training assessments.  Evaluate results, present findings in a logical and easy to understand manner.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of internal and external communication material, including electronic and face-to-face formats.
  • Work with training providers to develop training materials to support the implementation of the HRIS Program outcomes.
  • Contribute to the management of the relevant Training Program to ensure all training is programmed, coordinated, delivered and monitored.
  • Establish and oversee the 'Change Champion' network across the business area for their respective scope of work.
Requirements: 
  • Demonstrate experience in setting up a Change Champion Network
  • Exceptional experience in regards to OCM tools and templates
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong understanding and experience in what is 'best practice' OCM readiness for service artefactsDemonstrated recent experience in creation and articulation of Change and Transition Management, Benefits management, Communication, Stakeholder Engagement and Training Strategies and Plans for large, complex private sector or Government organisations.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in identification, management and realisation of project benefits.
  • Demonstrated recent experience in the delivery of supportive change and transition strategies and activities to support the implementation of large, complex business transformation programs of work involving delivery of ICT ERP or HR/Payroll solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary, multi-agency resources.
  • Interpersonal skills of a high order, with emphasis on relationship management and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to develop communication materials to support the change and transition activities
  • Advanced knowledge of drawing products such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint to develop graphical artefacts including flyers, newsletters, flow diagrams
  • Superior skills in the production of written, verbal and presentation material.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the methods and processes used to implement change in large, complex, 24x7, geographically dispersed organisations
  • An understanding of the theories of organisational behaviour and human motivation
  • An understanding of program and project management principles and the issues that can arise from the management of ICT initiatives
  • Qualifications in PRINCE2/MSP, Communications, Organisational Change Management, Psychology or similar discipline will be highly regarded.
