The Change Manager will play a key role in managing the stakeholder engagement for this new business system implementation project. The Change Manager will direct the change management, training and documentation program for the project as it will replace their existing legacy system and paper based processes.

As the Change Manager you role will be to ensure all potential business impacts associated with the project are identified and appropriate strategies are developed and executed to ensure a smooth transition during project roll-out.

Key accountabilities
  • Develop and implement change management and communication strategies to support the project, through engagement and communication with project stakeholders and Project Control Group
  • Identify change impacts for each group of stakeholders and develop appropriate interventions and activities to ensure a smooth transition 
  • Produce business and system documentation for users
  • Assess business readiness of impacted stakeholder groups
  • Manage project communication including communication for individual roll-outs to stakeholder groups
  • Direct and supervise the work of staff contributing to documentation, training and communication activities
Skills and experience
  • Previous experience in producing and overseeing the execution of change management, communication and training strategies, for system implementation projects
  • Experience preparing and delivering training programs
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship skills
  • Ability to effectively develop relationships with a wide range of staff including staff at the most senior levels of an enterprise
  • A demonstrated capacity to identify and pro-actively manage risks
