Talent are excited to be working with a rapidly growing software vendor providing collaboration, file storage and content management solutions to the Enterprise. Approaching 2 years in the ANZ region they have grown from 1 to 6 people with a view to triple this headcount by end of year. To fuel their growth in region they are now looking for a Channel Sales Director lead their channel business in Australia.
The Opportunity
Responsible for the development and execution of the go to market plan of their largest partner as well providing sales support to ensure they are competitive and capable to win business. You are a seasoned channel sales veteran with a track record of exceeding quota consistently year in-year out. My client is still in growth mode in region, as such you will have a unique opportunity to have full autonomy over your day-to-day responsibilities. With great power comes great responsibility - you will need to be a proven self-starter with the drive and ambition to take this business to the next level in region. 
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets and overall sales through partners
  • Collaborate with Marketing to drive the creation and utilization of sales collateral as well as demand generation programs and campaigns that drive partner revenue
  • Act as the central channel strategist to the sales organization to leverage partner relationships within assigned geographies
  • Provide sales support to ensure partners are competitive and capable to win business
  • Drive and support sales opportunities and gain the support of sales resources, in both pre-sales and post-sales activities
  • Track pipeline and close deals for specific agreed upon revenue goals.
  • Manage key relationships with strategic partners
  • Represent the company at partner, customer and industry events
  • Obvious passion and people skills
  • 7 years+ experience in driving high value partner programs for SaaS or Enterprise software companies
  • Experienced in crafting multi-year agreements and go to market plans
  • Comfortable with data driven strategy, modelling financial justification of deal and post deal metrics
  • Easy communicator to executives, finance and legal teams; great at establishing relationships
  • Experience working with partners, channel, and system integrators to build strategic programs that drive demand and sales
  • Proven team player that can collaborate with the end in mind
