Talent International are currently recruiting for an experienced Client Service Officer to work for one of our Federal Government clients based in Gosford. This position is a contract role till 30th June 2020. This position is equivalent to a federal government APS 3 role paying an hourly rate of $36.27 per hour plus superannuation. 

Position Purpose:

The Front of House will provide the first point of contact for Participants within the office and provide high quality professional, friendly and respectful management of telephone enquiries, reception duties and  appointment/scheduling processes. This role requires an enthusiasm for frontline customer service tasks.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provide administrative support to the Large Regional Hub team.
  • Management of email and appointments/calendar system for local office and multiple staff.
  • Undertake research and investigation options available in the local area and prepare associated reports and correspondence.
  • Provide front of house/reception support for the local office.
  • Coordinate appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensure these facilities are neat and appropriately prepared for each participant.
  • Book and acquit all office travel and fleet management and coordinate credit card acquittal requirements.
  • Accurately enter initial participant details into the organisation's IT system.
  • Coordinate and organise executive meetings and community forums where necessary.
  • Provide information about mainstream/disability services as part of general enquiries to the office.
  • Undertake a range of data entry responsibilities.
  • Receive and record complaints and other feedback in the Agency data base.
  • Research best value for and assist with the procurement and purchasing of small plan components.
  • Record information provided by participants in the Agency database in relation to changes or issues with their plan and ensure these are assigned for follow-up.
Essential Requirements:
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Have an eye for detail and an ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment.
  • Positive contemporary attitudes to people with disability.
  • Experience with supporting people with a disability to maximise participation in community.
  • Competency with IT systems.
  • Ability to respond to and prioritise competing and often urgent requests in a calm and efficient manner while also maintaining high work standards and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
  • Ability to work within the team and adapt quickly to a changing environment.
  • Ability to work closely with the participant and their carer/s.
  • Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders.
