My client, a high profile organisation are looking for a talented individual to join their commercial team for an 8-month assignment as a Contracts Advisor.

This exciting new post will see you working in a close-knit team assisting and leading the the development and ongoing management of contractual arrangements and provide ongoing sourcing and contract administration support to wider organisation.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Support the development and establishment of contract plans.
  • Support contract negotiation and drafting conformed contracts; and contract Management processes and procedures.
  • Liaise with Contract Managers to confirm contracted services and works are completed to scope and quality.
  • Process and monitor work orders, requisitions, supplier accreditation, purchase orders and supplier invoices.
  • Enable the timely processing of contractor payments in accordance with contractual terms and
  • Support the assessment and administration of contract variations, contact renewals and disputes
  • Co-ordinate the quotation end-to-end process, from the development of quotation documentation, leading evaluations, recommendation documentation, conforming the contract for award and informing respondents of the outcome
  • Provide administrative support to the Commercial Contracts Manager.

About you;
  • 5+ years' relevant industry experience as a project team member, with skills and knowledge covering the following aspects.
  • Qualification in business administration or other relevant field, possession of or progress towards a degree and/or professional qualification in Procurement is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in procurement in the Resources, Oil & Gas and/ or Energy sectors is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in contracts lifecycle administration (tender through award to close-out) for non-complex contracts is highly desirable; and
  • High proficiency in MS Office Systems (Word, Excel and Project), Document Management Systems.
