Digital Commercial Manager

My client is looking for a proven digital commercial manager to fill a key in-house position running their commercial operations.

You are excellent at negotiation, are good with numbers, have an eye for detail, get digital marketing and are good with people as you excel at building and nurturing long lasting relationships. You are of the opinion that sales doesn't need to be a numbers game because you understand sometimes it's all about who you know. What you'll bring to the table:
Ideally you have recent experience working at a bank in credit cards/finance, comparison sites, mortgage broking aggregators or similar. You know people at the banks and across the digital landscape.

  • Driven and hungry to grow revenue.
  • Be trustworthy and honest.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Bring a customer centric approach to selling, you sell solutions not products!
  • Be effective and organised to work remotely from home or shared office space.
  • Very good at number crunching & Excel spreadsheets.         
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and digital reporting platforms.
  • Have experience working with banks and digital marketing agencies.
  • Be the client facing ambassador of our brand.
A day to day may involve:
  • Organising advertising schedules.
  • Planning ahead and negotiating the sales engine of the website i.e. commission rates and sponsorships and budget caps, cut new IO's, revise IO's where needed.
  • Preparing and analysing the monthly data reports and ad hoc sales reports.
  • Reporting, giving feedback and making recommendations to our advertising partners on products & sponsorship performance.
  • Liaise with advertising partners and banks on a regular basis.
  • Negotiate advertising partners for exclusive offers.
  • Keeping up with latest consumer research and gathering competitive intelligence.
  • Executing commercial strategies.
  • Develop our advertising/sales presentation collateral.
  • Weekly meetings with the directors and core people in our business.
  • Partnering with other stakeholders and partnerships.
  • Develop new revenue streams.
