The Role

Our client is actively seeking an experienced SAP HCM - Payroll Design SME who will work on the client site, and be responsible for the following:
  • To act as SME for Payroll solution to customers
  • Demonstrable experience as a lead HR/PY consultant
  • Strong Australian Payroll Configuration experience is essential
  • Experience in End to End Business Processes
  • Experience in Time Management (Positive & Negative both)
  • Align changes based on existing configurations with County Legal Changes and Support Pack analysis
  • Provide estimations for the changes
  • Prepare functional specifications and review the configuration setup
  • Provide functional assistance to technical team for fixing the issues occurred during development, testing, UAT and go-live
  • Work on Change Management, Transport Movement and Application Deployment
  • Work with SAP on OSS Messages, fixes, patch application and root cause analysis
  • Suggest solutions to customer based on best business practices so that the customer gets business benefits by following the standard processes
  • Assist in the development of business process descriptions
  • Provide guidance on end-user documentation
  • Conduct unit tests based on customer defined scenarios
  • Coordinate with SAP ECC other module consultants for integration requirements
Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge in HR modules like PA, OM, PY and TM with ESS&MSS knowledge
  • Experience defining, implementing and supporting HCM business process
  • Knowledge on other modules of HCM along with Payroll
  • Experience in at least around 2 implementations, support experience with Australian Payroll
  • Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline
  • 8+ years of relevant consulting experience
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP HR Payroll gained across implementations, upgrades and post implementation support environments
  • Demonstrable experience in configuring and testing to customer requirements
  • Experience with data migration and data management activities
  • Good knowledge of payroll schemas and workflows
  • Good understanding of incident and change management process
  • Excellent work-life balance

This is a permanent role, paying a salary in the region of $131,400 (commensurate with skills and experience).
