Primary Purpose

The Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting Portfolio Category Manager in the daily management of contracts between the organisation and external suppliers to ensure contractual obligations and expected service standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely processing of supplier payments to ensure compliance contractual terms and conditions.
  • Undertake research and analysis to assist Portfolio Category Manager with the resolution of supplier enquiries and issues.
  • Regularly review contract administration processes and, in consultation with Portfolio Category Manager, implement initiatives that support continuous improvement of these processes.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable the achievement of business unit outcomes.
  • Develop and prepare reports to enable contract managers to evaluate contractor and supplier performance against contract agreements.
 
Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated experience in providing contract administration support, including the accounts payable function.
  • Ability to understand contract obligations and requirements and comply with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational and time management skills to plan, prioritise and complete work within allocated timeframes.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, research and analytical skills to solve problems and develop solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of computer skills and experience in relevant software, such as ARIBA, SAP and MS Office Suite.
