We have received an urgent request for Six Control Systems Specialist's to join their Perth and Brisbane based practices. Our client is a global powerhouse with operations in all continents and is truly a world leader. In Perth and Brisbane they have recently been chosen to deliver a number of projects across both the operational and IT areas.  
 

The main activities of this role will include:
  • Elicit business requirements
  • Document business requirements, business rules.
  • Working with the key business stakeholders to develop detailed business requirements
  • Experience in engineering/technician (or similar) level roles associated with the 'in scope' infrastructure types & systems e.g. Fixed Plant Systems (PLCs, SCADA etc.).
  • Fleet Management Systems (Modular, Mineware etc.)
  • Non-Production Infrastructure (CCTV, Personal Access Systems, Fuel Management systems etc.) or Radio & Wireless (Voice Radio, Wireless Data Networks like Cisco Mesh, Breadcrumb, LTE etc.).
  
Skills:
  • 'Process experience' associated with the infrastructure types & systems e.g. change management processes, work management processes, event management processes etc.
  • Preferably have background/experience in Coal Mine Sites/Ports directly or similar industry/infrastructure experience.
  • Proven track record in the successful delivery of similar projects
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi team cross functional environment
  • Ability to pro-actively contribute to the operation of the team and team processes
  • Ability to absorb and maintain a vision over numerous inflight activities in a diverse project landscape
  • Ability to engage multiple stakeholders and negotiate outcomes to support business objectives.
  • Experience with the full systems development lifecycle
  • Ability to create documentation and participate in activities across the full systems development lifecycle
