The Opportunity

Our client has developed their own proprietary platform with the simple goal of giving choice back to their customers when it comes to services they use every day (think energy, financial, telco providers, etc.) Since a successful soft launch in May, there are now 750 active users on the app with 20+ sign up's per day. As this number starts to increase and with future plans to develop additional apps to sit on the platform there is now a need for a Customer Success Manager. As a CSM you will be responsible for onboarding, training, developing member advocates, gathering customer experience and ultimately bringing the voice of your customers back to product and engineering to roadmap future development.

In line with customer growth, the business is looking to add headcount across Australia to this particular function, as such this represents a fantastic opportunity to join as hire #1 in the team with a view to build a remote CSM team around you. From day 1 you will be the face of the business, engaging with members on a personal basis to make them successful whilst gaining insight as to how they navigate the platform/apps. 

About YOU:
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A burning desire to help people succeed, you find helping people rewarding.
  • A customer service background/support background is of interest.
  • You are a problem solver by nature, no challenge is too great for you.
  • Experience wearing a few hats at once, you are joining a start-up so we need people who thrive in less structured environments.
  • You are relationship driven and not transactional - you have a big picture outlook rather than a short-term gain mentality.
  • Experience providing support through chat applications is desirable.
  • A desire to help build a company - the prospect of having a visible impact on a scale up Aussie business is truly exciting to you.
  • You have full working rights and currently reside in Sydney, Australia, unfortunately, our client is unable to sponsor at this point in time.
