My client is a global eCommerce site, who can boast being one of the top online stores in the world.  They have a brand new opportunity to join their Analytics team within the Sydney office, where you will join an energetic and forward thinking group of people.
The role is a Data & Insights Analyst, as Data Analyst you will be responsible for ensuring the programmatic function is working better and faster.  You will focus on optimising programmatic bidding floor pricing to increase media yield and revenue.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Asses the data availability
  • Set up pricing tests and learn
  • Manage the data measurement, general availability and reports
  • Communicate the insights clearly to the advertising team - be able to tell a story with the data
  • Process the data with confidence
  • Using DoubleClick - ensure the best price is being set
Skills required:
  • Strong quantitative background
  • Ability to translate data and create meaningful insights
  • At least 5 years' experience with online analytics
  • Experience with yield optimisation and media sales is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to stakeholders - clearly communicating findings
  • Ability to work in a high pressure/rapidly changing environment
  • Technical experiment with:
  • Google Analytics, SQL, Tableau
  • Very strong background with DFP / DoubleClick for programmatic media trading
  • Statistical tools such as R or Python
  • MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
