This Global organisation is looking for an experienced Desktop Analyst for an initial contract until end of financial year with chance of extensions. In this role you will be situated at their office in Gladstone - Curtis Island. The position will involve the effective operation of deskside equiptment including desktops, laptops, printers and video conferencing equiptment, some software support experience is also a requirement of the role. 

Your key responsibilities in this role will include:
  • Support and management of Mobile phones and satellite phone
  • Administration within Microsoft inTune
  • Support and management of PCs/portables
  • Support and management of shared end user hardware - printers, MFDs, meeting room equipment, audio/video conferencing
  •  Support and management of local IT infrastructure
  • Support of phone configuration and maintenance
  • IT hardware procurement
  • Assistance to global IT staff as requested
  • This role requires the individual to assist with out of hours' routine support activities coordinated by the infrastructure team
  • On call rooster with others within Australian Business Unit East
  • All staff will actively use "ServiceNow' Help Desk tracking system to acknowledge support requests and to fulfill customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Support and management of Access Control System
  • Communication with relevant stake holders

The ideal Candidate will have the following:
  • Demonstrated experience (5 years) within a progressive Information Services role focusing on client services.
  • Proven experience in supporting clients using Microsoft (MS) Windows PCs/portables, MS Office and Skype for Business
  • Experience supporting shared end user hardware - printers, MFDs
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting experience in a diverse and busy environment
  • Experience working independently or as part of a team
