Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect with a solid background in Networking to lead innovative, large-scale transformation projects.

Your brand new role will see you oversee several major network initiatives, own and evolve the Network Domain Roadmap, and help shape the organisation's Infrastructure Investment and new service offerings, including building out an IoT-as-a-Service offering. 

Key accountabilities
  • Provide leadership in architecting and designing large scale, complex and fit-for-purpose network infrastructure
  • Lead the development of the overall Network architecture, strategies, patterns, and roadmaps that are governed by stratgeic direction 
  • Outline architectural roadmap to take advantage of commodity and cloud infrastructure services to replace existing in-house provided services
  • Evaluate emerging network technologies against business and IT strategic needs.
  • Contribute towards the Enterprise Architecture roadmaps and strategies.
  • Develop a range of technical and business documents and presentations for a range of stakeholders, including relevant boards and executives

Skills and experience:
  • Experience architecting large-scale Network, Infrastructure & Modern Data Centres within a large, complex, fast-paced environments
  • Experience with MLPS, BGP, VXLAN, Cloud connectivity, IoT & Software-defined Data Center Architectures 
  • Solid experience with a wide range of infrastructure automation, orchestration and virtualisation technologies covering Cisco, Palo Alto, F5 Mellanox, Cumulus Linux, VMware, Openstack, Splunk etc
  • Proven experience creating architecture, strategy, blueprints, and roadmaps for Infrastructure solutions through strong leadership
  • Highly developed analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skills with eh ability to research technology and trends a
  • Strong interpersonal skills and influencing skills including the ability to develop working relationships with a range of stakeholders and staff from different levels within the organisation 
  • CCIE or equivalent will be highly regarded
