We are seeking a .NET Developer (specializing in WebAPI), who wants to join a reputable company within a Digital development team based in the Melbourne CBD. This is a 6 month contract with extensions. As a .NET Developer you will work with state of the art tools and technologies to build cutting edge solutions for this large enterprise. You'll get the chance to interface with internal customers, create new products and web and mobile applications, and improve on existing systems and code. The products that you build will be used by thousands of users and will be 'high impact' solutions.

What the role entails:
  • Hands-on .Net C# development, building WebAPI technologies.
  • Developing in latest technologies in an Agile environment.
  • Extensive experience working with Cloud (Azure)
  • Identifying and implementing technical innovations to improve work processes.
  • Work with various business divisions and plan with your Development Lead to deliver solutions.
  • Working closely with the lead developer and users to assure that business requirements are accurately represented in design and implementation phases.
  • Unit Testing experience
  • Experience using Selenium (Highly regarded)
Basic Qualifications
  • Technical qualifications - E.g. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Development experience in: .Net, C#, Asp.net MVC/WebApi, Restful, SOAP
  • Experience developing in Sitecore (Highly regarded)
  • Front end technologies experience - HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Developing Angular (2.0 is a plus) applications end to end. 
  • Designing application database and deployment (SQL Server or Oracle)
In addition...
  • Passion for designing application with Digital customer experience in mind i.e. delightful UI and UX (working with UI and UX experts)
  • Ability to join an existing project and quickly become productive
  • Demonstrate ability to excel in requirement definition design and coding
  • Must possess good teamwork skills and work effectively with cross- functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
