Working for this global IT Services and Solutions organisation your brand new role will see you apply approved engineering policies and practices in production equipment and facilities to improve operating performance, reduce costs, waste and delays and promote high level of efficiency.

Key responsibilities:
  • Ensure equipment operates for best quality, most efficient output and safest operation through analysis of performance and management of contractors, recommendations to operations teams
  • Recommend and implement improvements in equipment and facilities performance, layout, output, quality and safety
  • Manage and direct equipment and facility maintenance programs and activities as required whilst maintaining production and adhering to OH&S regulations and as far as possible within budget
  • Assist Operations with new equipment reviews, process improvement activities and installation/commissioning. 
  • Manage site contractors such as, air-conditioning, plumbing, power, cleaning etc. activities
  • Co-ordinate price negotiations on equipment & maintenance contracts in conjunction with Supply and Head of Operations.
 Key skills and experience required:
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in similar type role/environment
  • Previous experience supporting production related manufacturing machinery and equipment
  • Demonstrated experience for documentation preparation ie. BC Plans, maintenance contracts, and detailed maintenance schedules 
  • Proven experience managing vendors and contracts
  • Strong attention to detail with high troubleshooting skills
