Enterprise Architect​

 

A large government department has a requirement for a skilled and experienced individual to engage in a contract role based in Canberra as an Enterprise Architect. This opportunity is for a contract lasting up to 12 months with possible extension options. In this role you will provide Enterprise Architecture support to ICT projects and activities involving both business and technical change.

 
 
  • Must be an Australian citizen with a TSPV clearance or have held one in the last 12 months
  • Competitive contract rate based on a full-time schedule
  • Long-term contract with possible extension options 


Major Role Responsibilities:
 
  • Contribute to the development of a business architecture, both current and target state, based on organisational strategies and plans.
  • Contribute to the architectural development of infrastructure technologies 
  • Contribute to a capability gap analysis based on the differences between the current and target state architectures and provide recommendations.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to elicit requirements and communicate relevant progress of activities.
  • Validate business requirements and traceability to solution designs and configurations.
  • Ensure designs are aligned with architectural standards and strategy.
  • Contribute to the approval of designs through architectural and stakeholder bodies.
  • Provide leadership in the progression and resolution of engineering issues
  • Provide advice, guidance and assistance to less experienced colleagues as required.
  • Work with project teams to ensure plans are updated as implementation evolves.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/organisational requirement.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives.
  • Demonstrated creativity, innovation and ethical thinking in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
