Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect to provide Architecture Services to guide the process of planning and designing the Information Technology and Information System capabilities to meet desired organisational objectives. 

Key accountabilities
 
  • Uphold enterprise architecture strategy, principles and standards.  Contribute to their evolutions with recommendations based on long-term IT organisation strategy, goals, and lessons learnt.
  • Development and ongoing review of the organisations technology strategy and architecture covering all key technology assets.
  • Development of strategy roadmap and transition architectures.
  • Risk and change impact assessment, cost benefits, options and articulation of a case for change to the strategic target state.
  • Define in collaboration with Director, CTO, CIO and business stakeholders on the portfolio of technology projects to progress, including the development of costing, resourcing level as input into the budget planning cycle.
  • Review of current technology assets portfolio to ensure they meet the needs in short to medium terms, have applicable Business Continuity Plan in place by the business, lifecycle/end of life strategy in place, and identify opportunities for cost efficiency and service level uplift through for example vender contract reviews, rationalisations.
  • Develop and ongoing review of Technology Reference Architectures, and ensure consistency in their application by technology solution architects.
  • Risk Management of ICT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.
  • Enterprise Architecture Repository - technology principles, standards, logical designs, physical design, current state and future state.
  • Develop and maintain the modelling of the future technology landscape as per enterprise infrastructure technology strategies.
  • Uplift working peers' knowledge and skills in architecture and development methods, particularly around technology and infrastructure architecture.
 Selection Criteria:
  • Expert level in architecture, in particular the application, information, and integration domains, TOGAF Level 2 Certification Preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of architecture across multiple domains, including: network & security, cloud hosting, unified communication, end-user computing, facility building management, and Internet.
  • Extensive experience and a record of achievement in developing architecture on Microsoft stack including but not limited to O365, Azure and providing technical leadership in a large and complex service environment.
  • Proven capacity to contribute to and implement strategic initiatives as well as experience in development of technology support model.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing a business case for change and working with business analysts to create integrated end-to-end solution options.
  • Highly developed in business skills and methods, particularly in business scenario, business functions modelling as well as expert level in communications, written and oral.
  • Superior organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer-focused approach.
  • Superior analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports in a short timeframe, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business-focused solutions.
