Our client is a large wireless communications company and a household name. This group owns and operates a number of high profile, critical networks in Australia and continues to dominate the radio network industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for the management of critical networking infrastructure (Radio Frequency or RF) across key sites and providing priority response to infrastructure.
Your duties will cover:
  • Rectifying technical issues on key RF systems and RF equipment
  • Performing regular daily site checks and testing of mission critical systems and equipment
  • Diagnosing and correcting malfunctions, whilst also undertaking proactive modification, maintenance and installation work for key RF systems and equipment
  • Supervising and coordinating other field resource as required
  • Working closely with and assisting staff at corporate HQ on other state wide projects.
  • Participation in the on-call roster

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience with customer facing (essential)
  • Demonstrated management skills
  • Previous exposure to using digital communication testing equipment on Radio Frequency
  • Good communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call roster
  • A valid driver's license (essential)
  • RF network maintenance and management
  • CCNA qualifications are highly desirable, as is previous experience in the management of a substantial RF network.
