My Client is on look out for a technically savvy creative individual who has a proven track record in the E-commerce space. They would be responsible for building a team and a platform for this particular business to flourish further. This lifestyle brand really have their eye on being a leader in their sector in the health industry. 

This will initially be a hands on role and very much on the tools, with a view to grow the team further within twelve months, alongside side the tech requirements this is where your leadership skills will come into play.

What they want to achieve.

1. Brand - comprehensive understanding of the brand promise and growth strategy, including creation of the brand Protocol digital health and wellness
2. Gap Analysis - review existing technology stack for each channel, compare and contrast with best in class technology solutions.
3. Omni-channel - design an omni-channel systems architecture to create a single customer experience across all channels, including loyalty, and incorporating
the brand Protocol for proactive nutrition and lifestyle input and customised solutions.
4. Build or Buy - identify best in class off the shelf solutions, and to the extent necessary, architect custom elements requiring in house or outsourced
5. Create and Manage - create a scale-able brand tech stack, including the recruitment of required in house resources, and / or acquisition of appropriate
outsourced partners, and manage for maximum ROI.

How they expect you to achieve it

1. Technology Strategy - create a robust and scale-able technology strategy balancing in-house and outsourced development to maximise ROI.
2. Team Building - build a small, proactive and agile team a top tier developers for highest priority development.
3. Business Needs - work proactively with business leadership team to identify the best balance balance of brand supportive features and benefits, with highest
customer ROI potential, for MVP, V1.0 and beyond.
4. CX - develop an integrated CX across all channels, providing a rich data-set for customisation of the offer to maximise customer outcomes, and supporting
loyalty, referral and cross channel sales.
5. Multiple pathways - balancing efficiency of first time / one time user experience, with multiple layers to the brand journey available for repeat and loyalty

Key Technology strengths they're looking for:
  • HTML for general site structure and elements
  • CSS/SCSS for styling
  • Javascript for interactive elements and dynamic data (such as cart and the countdown timer)
  • Extensive eCommerce experience (currently utilising Shopify so experience with this would be great but not essential
  • Liquid for Shopify specific templating (such as rendering product information etc.)
  • React.js + Redux experience would be a huge advantage
  • REST API for dynamic data retrieved and sent to Shopify from website (such as   adding to cart)
