Primary Purpose
 The Senior Health Solutions Coordinator provides a high standard of customer service and is a source of expert advice in the management and coordination of a range of services including health and wellbeing and Rec Club events, health assessments, fitness for duty assessments, termination on medical advice, drug & alcohol assessments and reasonable adjustment. 
Key Accountabilities
  • Complying with specified standards and processes associated with processing in a complex operational and business environment 
  • Ensuring that all matters are handled in a manner consistent with legislation, government and organisational strategy and with sensitivity, discretion and tact
  • Resolving enquiries from a variety of internal and external parties
  • Identifying systemic issues or problems in order to change services or processes
  • Ensuring that procedures are clear and easily understood at the processing level to enable ongoing and consistent achievement of performance standards 
  • Building sound relationships with line managers to increase knowledge, capacity and support for working within the injury management and compensation framework
  • Working in harmony and cooperating with all areas of the Division and across the broader   
  • Developing skills and knowledge to be able to work in various areas across Injury & Claims Management
  • Keeping abreast of current and emerging best practice, Government policy and statutory requirements
Key challenges
  • Success in managing one or more of the following areas: health and well being,  fitness for duty or drug & alcohol assessment, , reasonable adjustment or events management
  • Sound analytical and problem solving skills with evidence of the capacity to make balanced and ethical judgements
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritising skills with proven capacity to meet deadlines
  • Sound written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes, systems and service delivery outcomes
  • Sound facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with a record of success in resolving  issues with a diverse range of people 
  • Proven ability to work within a team based environment with demonstrated customer service focus
Experience in NSW public sector is highly desirable but not mandatory.
