Our client, a large government organisation are seeking a HR Business Leadership Partner to be responsible for partnering with one or more business leadership teams to implement and deploy HR strategies to meet business objectives through improved leader and employee performance and productivity.  The role includes strategic advice and support to the respective senior management team members with a strong focus on the critical areas of workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, change management and business improvement.
 
Experience and Skills needed:-
 
We are seeking a seasoned HR professional with acknowledged high credibility levels with business managers and proven capacity to impact on behaviours and practices including:
 
  • Proven ability to work with a business while maintaining consistency and integrity with corporate, legislative and government goals.
  • Proven experience in managing cultural change and the people impacts of major change programs.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, discretion and judgement while maintaining a strong customer service approach.
  • Well developed internal consulting skills with strong business acumen, well developed analytical thinking and problem solving abilities.
  • Self motivated individual who displays a "can-do' proactive style and desire to provide excellent service to clients.
  • A strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into pragmatic actions, requirements in policy documents and to be actively involved in implementation.
  • Strong evidence of capacity to quickly understand and work within the boundaries of a range of industrial awards and agreements.
  • A team player with a flexible, adaptable and results orientated approach.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
