Talent International is excited to be working in partnership with a global telecommunications company who is seeking a HR Specialist for a 9-month Maternity leave contract, located in North Ryde.

As the HR Specialist you will be responsible for the full spectrum of the Australian HR activities including but not limited to:
  • Recruitment and the Onboarding of new hires
  • All HR activities relating to company acquisition or merger projects
  • Required to work with internal and external legal contacts on employment and related documentation and legal requirements
  • Ensure country compliance with local laws and internal company policies 
  • Work closely with other support functions including global HR teams, Finance, Payroll, IT, Security, and Facilities where necessary
  • Liaise with 3rd party vendor in organizing work visa arrangements 
Ideally you will have:
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources / Business Management or equivalent
  • 2 - 4 years' experience in a similar role
  • A good understanding of statutory requirements, local labour laws and requirements
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM and Taleo system will be an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of attention to detail
