Talent International are proud to partner with a fantastic MSP who are searching for an ICT Operations Manager/Technical Services Manager for a great MSP client in Sydney CBD.

This is a smaller MSP in comparison to some of the global operators in this space but they are going through a period of growth where they will need some processes, principals and capability uplifts put formally in place.

There are a number of clients this MSP are servicing and this role will require the ICT Operations/Technical Manager to:
  • Develop and Maintain systems, standards, processes and practices that promote excellence, service improvement and client engagement
  • The role is a leadership position and includes Service Support, System Administrators and Engineers as part of the make-up. You will need to ensure the team manage all Service Requests, Alarms, Incidents and Service Requests
  • Development and improvement of ICT Operational Management framework
  • Creation of a comprehensive NOC (Network Operations Centre) and oversee the ongoing management of Cloud, Networks, Data Centre and Infrastructure
  • Development, Maintenance and productions of Metrics, dashboards, reports including Service Performance, Budgetary control, resourcing of projects, incident reviews and project Plans
  • There will be After-Hours and On-Call Support which will require System Monitoring, Alerting, Performance and Capacity Management, Vulnerability Management and Business and Service Continuity
  • Managing regular reviews for Internal Performance and Client Review sessions.
  • Full ITIL and ITSM Practices need to be managed effectively

Requirements of the Candidate
  • Strong working knowledge of leading ICT Operation practices in Cloud and On-Premise Environments
  • Experience with ITIL and DevOps principles and practical application of these standards
  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall practices
  • Experience in managing Technical Infrastructure teams
  • Deep knowledge of NOC (Network Operations Centres) and their establishment
  • Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager or Technical Services Manager (3 plus Years experience)
  • MSP and experience within Financial Services clients would be highly desirable
  • Vendor Relationship Management experience
