About the Role

As Trainer, you will work with the team's program OCM Lead to devise training approaches and detailed plans for the key projects, using a multichannel approach to ensure staff receive high quality training.  The Trainer will work to understand the training needs of each user group, create professional training presentations and deliver classroom training as required in Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne. The Trainer will create content for online training and quality control/commission its production to time and budget.

Key Competencies and Qualifications
  • Development, design and implement fit-for-purpose training programs.
  • Experience in the design and development of learning programs that meet training requirements and objectives within the required timeframes.
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and develop feasible solutions in a timely manner to ensure that workplace learning and performance goals are achieved.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Experience of introducing change successfully in respect of the adoption of new technologies to support business processes
  • Experience in instruction design using Storyline, Captivate or Camtasia or online training software
  • Excellent knowledge of desktop applications including MS Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Skype for Business 
  • Understanding of Transformational change and Change management in projects
