Talent International is excited to be working in partnership with a national telecommunications company who is seeking an Improvement Analyst for an initial 6-month contract, located in North Sydney.

As the Improvement Analyst your role is to support the delivery of improvement initiatives/projects through ongoing analysis of operational data and by providing insights into the behaviour and performance of our network, workforce and partners. This includes progressing identified and approved business and process improvements.

The role will be expected to work collaboratively with stakeholders and corporate groups to ensure the integration and alignment of the improvement methodology with existing NBN processes capabilities and accountabilities, and other strategic corporate initiatives including the HSE framework and the Business Process Excellence program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify business improvement opportunities through ongoing analysis of operational data 
  • Design processes initiatives as required, assisting Process Owners to achieve measurable improvements in process capability and maturity.
  • Analyse current practices and analytics to identify process optimisation opportunities.
  • Facilitate improvement workshops and meetings as required utilising relevant techniques to assist Operations staff to resolve urgent improvement issues
About you:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Process, Data Analysis position with some Telecommunications experience
  • Detailed knowledge of Excel, tableau and analytics tools (e.g. Pareto analysis, and statistical process control charts)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with metrics and process enforcement/ compliance
  •  Proficiency in using MS Excel to manipulate large data sets and produce reports 
  • Proficiency with other MS Office applications including Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills
  • Ability to build large scale Semantic Models/Tableau Data Sources
