They are committed to the continual improvement of their services by becoming leaner, more efficient and more responsive to the changing needs of their customers. The successful candidate will become a key member of the leadership team within a newly-created business group focused on the enhancement of customer service.

About the Role
As the Industry Engagement Manager, you will manage purposeful engagement with customers and stakeholders and develop strategic relationships relevant to service outcomes and major investments to ensure opportunities are identified and communicated internally. You will develop and manage the stakeholder engagement framework and associated engagement plans to build the reputation of our client and support strategic initiatives. 

As the leader of a small, cross-functional team, you will drive teamwork and leadership by coaching, developing and sustaining an engaged and high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build, leverage and manage strategic relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Develop, implement and manage stakeholder engagement framework and plans
  • Support organisational staff in achieving purposeful engagement with customers and stakeholders
  • Seek and communicate information, issues and challenges from clients and stakeholders that may impact the organisation
  • Develop communication material that defines objectives for engaging with customers and stakeholders

Skills & Experience
  • Significant experience in a stakeholder management, corporate affairs or similar influential position
  • Experience in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and leadership positions
  • High-level communication skills, with the ability to speak with influence and authority
  • Ability to drive a customer-centric focus through business-aligned customer advocacy
  • Tertiary qualifications in corporate affairs, business or communications OR relevant practical experience
