Working with government agencies in Australia and around the world, the department is the lead agency in ensuring the global stability and economic growth of Australia.

About the Role
Our large government client requires the services of the ICT infrastructure Program Delivery Officer to manage the delivery of ICT projects most importantly in the Infrastructure and Data Centre Teams; and managing defined work packages to deliver outputs and products in accordance with budget and quality standards which contribute to the delivery of ICT solutions across the Department.

Responsibilities of the Role Include;
  • Co-ordinate the assessments of new Work Requests.
  • Constantly assessing resource allocation based on the status of the project.
  • Develop models outlining current and future skills/resource requirements.
  • Creation of project scheduling documents and plans.
  • Developing key project deliverables documentation.
  • Working with the Directors and Program Managers to determine priorities, to ensure that the work packages are adequately resourced.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely reporting procedures are in place at all times.
  • Work closely with the director to implement business process improvements.

 Selection Criteria Includes;
  • Experience in the development, delivery and evaluation of technology change, new capability adoption and project delivery to support the department's strategic outcomes.
  • Knowledge of project management and organisational change skills, including, monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, budget and resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively, analyse situations, evaluate, research and analyse data, identifying trends and preparing briefs and reports to support informed decision-making and planning
