Our prestigious client require an experienced Business Analyst to work on a ground-breaking program of work in the R+D team within the Energy sector here in WA.

In order to achieve their aims they require a forward thinking Analyst with a keen interest in all things innovation and technology. Through extensive research and workshops, you will seek to gain a thorough understanding on where value is created, improving the processes which create and deliver enhanced value, conduct financial analysis to determine present and future performance, developing and empowering people, as well as developing effective methods, systems and solutions to sustain and lead continuous improvement.

As well as a Research focus, and thirst for technological trends, you will have a proven capacity to conduct business process and service reviews including the facilitating, documenting and implementing its outcomes, strong relationship building, communication and report writing skills that enable strong working partnerships with all stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include;
  • Develop and analyse qualitative and quantitative research
  • Provide specialist advice on the development of performance measures
  • Promote sharing key research data with internal stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement initiatives.

Background and Experience sought;
  • 5+ years in a Business/ Research Analyst role.
  • Energy / Utilities sector experience is very highly desired, and/ or knowledge of renewable/ sustainable energy.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area such as Business, Information Technology.
  • Proven capacity in problem solving, data analysis, financial analysis, business process reviews including associated research, data collection and benchmarking assessment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams.
  • An understanding of the current Technology drivers and trends that impact organisations and how positive changes in systems and processes can be embraced.
  • Certifications in Business Analysis or related disciplines such as data analytics, continuous improvement or project management.
