As the IT Governance and PMO Analyst you will be responsible for managing and continuously improving IT Governance processes and practises across the IT PMO. You will drive the compliance and continuous improvement of IT processes. Candidates must have experience in a medium to large enterprise environment, have excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Digital and IT project for  framework and its continuous improvement 
  • Schedule and conduct reviews of project status to ensure reported status reflects reality
  • Prepare IT PMO content for executive level reports
  • Supporting IT strategy, planning activities, monthly capital investment  
  • Ongoing improvement of PMO, providing education and guidance on PMO processes and tools.
  • Ensure IT's risk management processes and practices are aligned to the organisation's risk framework and manage IT inputs and reporting requirements.
  • Coordination of IT Contractor management including candidate selection, on-boarding etc
  • Financial Administration.
  • Administrative support to the CIO and IT team.
 
Experience required:
  • 6+ years' experience as an IT PMO Analyst, IT Governance Analyst or with a strong focus on IT governance, compliance, analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent working knowledge of IT project planning, portfolio management and tools.
  • ​Prior experience in developing, maintaining and implementing ICT project governance frameworks that are pragmatic and fit-for-purpose.
  • Highly experienced using metrics and facts to drive continuous improvement in the IT function.
  • Solid grasp and detailed understanding of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Experience assisting and educating project managers on PMO tools and processes including project reporting, tollgate approvals and process compliance.
  • SAP R3 GL experience preferred
  • Experience in a mining organisation an advantage
  • Ability to work in an outcome focussed environment
  • Must be self sufficient with the ability to be pro-active in an unprocessed environment
  • Must be able to work autonomously
