This newly created role will see you lead the end-end delivery of a high-profile capital IT program, managing functional management of Project Managers and related projects from initiation to delivery of business capabilities, benefit realisation and program closure.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Manage and lead large, multiple multi-disciplinary project delivery teams, providing strategic direction and ensuring good commercial outcomes by delivering value for money and outcomes which align to corporate expectations and strategies.
  • Ensure all projects are moving forward and that all components for successful delivery are in place.
  • Coordinate resources and supports the development of project plan, resolves issues with regards to delays in project delivery and resource constraints.
  • Facilitate program level issues and change management resolution.
  • Drive alignment and adherence to standards and direction set by the organization.
  • Remove barriers that prevent efficient execution of projects.
  • Ensure that approved methods, processes and tools are consistently used across projects and programs, including change, issue, and risk and quality management.Skills/ Experience;Extensive Project and Program Management experience managing and delivering complex IT Programs of work.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Program / Project Management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE 2 and/ or PMBOK.
  • Solid understanding of project management, methodologies and hands-on experience in managing all aspect of project delivery, including vendor relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Solid negotiator and facilitator.
  • Proficient with a project scheduling software tool - MS Project preferred
  • Experience interfacing and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Experience in translating technology into business terms and with integrating technology into the business environment, including the development and tracking of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
