Our client and role:

Our client, an industry leading WA employer of choice are seeking an experienced IT Purchasing and Asset Coordinator for a contract oppurtunity into the new year. Key requirements of the role will include supporting the procurment function in all things asset management and procurement from coordinating quoting for hardware/software services through to asset tagging/invoice coordination. 

Key requirements of the role: 
  • Arranging and co-ordinating the purchase and payment of goods and services for IT products and services in accordance with relevant standards and policies.·        
  • Liaising with business requisitions, management and IT technical experts in interpreting requests for goods and services
  • Undertaking monthly stock takes, ensuring all holding stock can be accounted for at all times, preparing all necessary paperwork in accordance with our clients policy if stock levels do not balance.
  • Maintaining a minimum stock holding level, regularly reviewing levels, and placing new stock purchase orders as required.
  • Working in accordance with Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements.
  • Developing and sustaining effective working relationships with colleagues, customers and clients.
Essential experience required:
  • Experience in a commercial IT Procurement based position, coordinating and managing vendors, selecting cost saving solutions for IT services required. 
  • A background in reporting on purchasing activities, invoice timeliness and stock levels as required.
  • Experience with the administration of contracts by preparing documentation as instructed, taking minutes at meetings and managing the Electronic filing of records.
  • Prior experience in monitoring purchase order values and associated expenditure across multiple project environments.
